The Standing Salaami
Standing Salaami refers to the act of standing to show respect, honor, and love for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) while reciting praises (Salawat) upon him. This practice is observed in some Islamic traditions, particularly in gatherings like Mawlid (celebration of the Prophet’s birth).
Perspectives on Standing Salaami:
- Some scholars view it as a respectful gesture to honor the Prophet (PBUH), similar to how the Sahaba (companions) expressed their love for him.
